The Stop strives to increase access to healthy food in a manner that maintains dignity, builds health and community, and challenges inequality. We recognize that problems of food access and security are often related to multiple issues, most importantly a lack of income.

In order to more closely align with our goals and values as an anti-poverty organization, The Stop has committed to becoming an accredited Ontario Living Wage Employer. We are excited to join a growing network of employers, including other non-profits in our sector, who recognize that paying a living wage represents an important investment in the health and well-being of our staff an dour communities.
